The CSF offers cutting edge fluorescence based techniques, including: LSFM with imaging axis vertical and from below, automated temperature control, day/night cycle & fluid flow to sample bath/water level. SIM for spatial resolution down to ~100-150 nm laterally and ~250nm axially and control of temperature, CO2 and humidity. Time-Resolved time-domain Fluorescence Imaging and Spectroscopy permitting Fluorescence lifetime mapping, Fluorescence Anisotropy Imaging, FCS, FCCS, FLCS, FLCCS & time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy measurements.


  • LSFM: Long working distance imaging with high NA~1. Excitations at 405, 491, 515, and/or 561nm.
  • 3d SIM: OMX v4 Blaze by Applied Precision/GE. Optional autofocus and equipped with 4 laser lines & environmental control.
  • Microtime 200 Picoquant: 2 hybrid PMA detectors, 4 tunable repetition rate (0-40MHz) pulsed lasers Pulse Interlieved Excitation (PIE) and temperature control for live cell studies.
